Went to Sea Grill on a neighbors recommendation that it is the best seafood restaurant he has ever eaten in and found it to be beautiful, with excellent service and food. An extremely pleasant surprise that we will return to and certainly recommend in the future.

I've been to Sea Grill a number of times since it opened and always the food had been fresh and flavorful, the wine selection was great and didn't break the budget. It's great to go with friends, business clients or "just us" date night. In all, Sea Grill has good food, good atmosphere and a dash of excellent service! John the Manager (from Carpaccio's) is the host with the most!! Also, don't forget to pick up a cookie on the way out.

Perfect for lunch out on the patio. Arguably one of the best octopus in Miami. Excellent service and very good food on reasonable prices. The lamb youvetsi is more than enough for even three people!

I highly recommend Sea Grill. It is a delicious and authentic Greek restaurant. It reminds me of the Greek restaurants I used go to in Astoria Queens. The grilled octopus was delicious. And the keftedes were great. Everything we ordered was good. We ordered a lot of appetizers and shared which made it a really fun experience. The wine selection is good and very reasonably priced. And the service was very attentive but not overbearing. It's nice to finally have a great Greek restaurant in north Miami. I highly recommend Sea Grill. Delicious! We had dinner with another couple, and for the 4 of us shared about 10 appetizers and a bottle of wine for lunch. Every single dish was nicely seasoned, and they really have the grilling down. Amazing ribs, nicely charred. Delightful lemon potatoes. Delicious grilled shrimp in butter. Fresh beet salad very nice...and on and on. It's not a cheap meal, but we've paid a lot more for a lot less in Miami-area restaurants so were delightfully surprised to find food of this quality in a mall setting in the area. Service was also very good. Will definitely go back and recommend Sea Grill.

There is absolutely nothing bad to say about this restaurant. But since it is a review maybe I could do some complaining about the price. At first it seems expensive until you eat the food and experience the restaurant then the price doesn't matter.

The restaurant is clean. The bathrooms Clean which is a good indication. The grilled peppers are excellent. Good place for lunch. A little overpriced.

Interesting experience and I must say, very typical Miami Beach. Getting in to your table is half the battle, once seated past aggressive, pushy people you'll face a very large, varied menu with lots of wonderful options. The Greek-ness of this restaurant seems to be very subdued - it was quite welcome. We started with the traditional Saganaki (which in Chicago comes to the table in under flame, guess they don't do that here) - it was good, not great. Not sure they used the right cheese. I ordered the whole Branzino which comes with a side of traditional Greek lemon potatoes - both simply delicious and well prepared. The food was great and definitely a go to location if you want a wide selection of fresh fish. Lots and lots for those that don't eat seafood even though the name has "Sea" in it. Two things that were annoying however. One was that we were seated right next to a VERY loud kitchen entryway even though I specifically requested a nice table outside in my Open Table reservation submission. They made us wait once we arrived so I figured it would be worth waiting for the table outside. The kitchen was so noisy between the clanking of the dishes and the servers screaming at one another. The second annoyance was with our server. My friend ordered the lamb and he was brought clams. We ordered the saganaki appetizer and our server thought we said lima beans. Um, ok. Again, this is Miami after all.

Very accommodating for our large party on short notice. Food was fantastic. Very tasty appetizers. Very good service . Highly recommend this place.

Probably the best greek restaurant in all Miami-Dade! Peter the man at the kitchen helm does an excellent job slecting the freshest ingredients and seafood and cooking them to perfections. Favorites include the eggplant salad (finally you can taste the roasted eggplant), the cheese stuffed calamari and the octopus. The keftedes meatballs are also delicious! Great location and service too!!

Review: Overall disappointment Experience: I ate at Sea Grill for my last meal in Miami. Based on the reviews I was anticipating an amazing meal and wonderful experience. While the food was decent, it was highly overpriced for what I received. First course we ordered the ceviche and the fried calamari. The ceviche was drenched in garlic and herbs with no taste of actual fish. The calamari was decent but nothing special. For the main course we had the whole snapper, grouper fillet, and the lamb youvetsi. While the fishes were tasty there was nothing particularly extraordinary about the dishes. For $40 a dish I would expect more than an okay plate. The service was also about average. Again, nothing bad just for the pricing there should have been a bit more than I received. Conclusion: I'm glad I tried the restaurant but I will not be back.

Was in town for a conference and the concierge at our hotel recommended Sea Grill. When we rolled into a strip mall/grocery store parking lot I was skeptical, but the food was great and the service was killer. As a table of 4 we shared some wine, 3 appetizers, including the seviche (my favorite), two whole fish dishes (definitely get the Branzino), a couple desserts, and topped it off with house made grapefruit limoncello. The meal was great, but really, I'm not sure that I'd have taken the time to write a review if not for the service. Every staff member we encountered was working hard to give us a great experience, and a couple went far above and beyond, including our waiter and another staffer, who helped us get back to our hotel when the taxi we ordered failed to show up. A truly delightful experience!

The food is superb and the service is usually excellent. The service isn't as consistent as the quality of the food. The appetizers - the fried eggplant and zucchini is sliced paper thin and fried crisp and light, tasty! I love the traditional lemon chicken soup here. The best lobster I ever tasted was here, grilled and with a lemony sauce with I think basil in it, really superb...the fish is excellent, fresh and pricey...

Excellent service and excellent food, best ribs, great prawns, best hummus, best lamb chops. The lemon potatoes are incredible, rice pudding was amazing and those Greek donuts! Love this place and highly recommend it!

The exterior of this restaurant is less than attractive, but don't let that dissuade you--the attractive interior very much makes up for this. It gets three stars because the food is most important. The beet appetizer was very good as was the fresh, tasty Greek salad. Those are worth four stars. The salmon portion was generous and flavorful, but overlooked. Also generous was the scallop dish--seven large scallops--fresh, but with a crumb topping that didn't help the dish. Attentive service. We ordered two desserts, were warned that they were large, but we assured our server that we could handle it. He thereupon brought us a third dessert on the house. All were quite good. Limoncello is served as a digestif. The check was a long time in coming but I think that was just because the house wasn't particularly busy and they were happy to let us have the table as long as we wanted.

The best Greek food in south Florida! I missed Greek town in chicago until I discovered Sea Grill! Taramasalata, grilled octopus, Greek salad, lamb, keftkedes everything here is fantastic! Completely Addictive! Peter the Chef is suburb!

When we walked in the restaurant I could not believe the beauty, ambience & simplicity of the room. It was outstanding and so was everything else from that point on. The setting is.on the water. The service was incredible. There were six of us & we ordered appetizers that were enough for dinner, but did not stop there. The entrees were even better. I do not know how they can do it but they did. Better& better! We were dying at this point but one smart a-- had to order one dessert for the table. All I can tell you is that 2 1/2 hours later we had the best of everything and enjoyed it all. Will definitely go bac.

The best seafood and Greek restaurant in town!!! We tried it for the first time and were all very happy with everything. We took our drinks out to the dock on the intracoastal waterway before sitting down to eat. As you enter the dinning area, you can see the fresh seafood and vegetables on display. Excellent octopus, spanikopita and greek salad to start. The bronzino and greek snapper we had for our mains were very fresh, cooked and seasoned to perfection. We had a few desserts including baklava, a flan cake and chocolate lava cake. All were exceptional. This place is great for both couples and larger parties. Everyone at our table raved about how good everything was; including the location, service and most importantly the food. A great find and we were all very happy we tried it. We will definitely go back soon and often.

My man raved about this place. Every time he brought someone here, they fell in love with the place too. This has been the refrain for years. Fast forward to now...May 2014. My first impression was definitely "wow". The place is gorgeous. They have two separate continuous 4 screen live tableaux to entertain the diners. One is of an exotic sea scene with brilliantly colored fish and coral. One is a breath-taking aerial tour of Greece. Absolutely stunning. That's when it all started going down hill. We ordered all the "special" dishes the place is known for. Each one was a disappointment. The grilled octopus had the consistency of mushy rubber. The raw oysters were the size of my palm and utterly tasteless. The stuffed fig leaves were a dissolving mess in a sea of oil. The fried smelts were just this side of edible - fried to the perfect texture but treated to a bizarre uncomplimentary mixture of spices. Although there were only 3 tables of diners while we were there, the service was appalling. Every request was ignored the first 2 times. I guess third times the charm... We were left to wonder if the chef had left or the place was under new non-Greek management. Sadly the bad taste in my mouth became two days of heartburn. Do yourself a favor. Pass on this place.

We were a party of 5. Service was impeccable and food top notch. Had many appetizers (grape leaves were outstanding as were lemon potatoes).Chicken soup was excellent as well. Steak, fish, vegetables top rated. Large portions. Good wine list. Greek coffee amazing. Can't wait to return.

What a find! Just came here last night and had such a great experience from start to finish. They were so accommodating especially since we were 30 minutes late and had a baby. We are not big drinkers but I must say that was the most delicious sangria I have ever had. It was so big I had to share it with the rest of the party. The appetizers were amazing one by one. Such quality and everything was spiced to perfection. The fish was out of this world we had red snapper and grouper. The prices are reasonable for a nice dinner out. We had a fantastic table outside by the water and it could not have been more perfect. The staff were all beyond nice and very professional. Can't wait to come back on our next trip in!

The food was excellent, most of the starters and sides were worthy of 5 stars. The service was also very good. Our waiter was very knowledgeable, helpful and professional. The place was slammed and so service became a bit of an issue at one point, but he was very apologetic and sent us a lovely dessert and a greek lemoncello on the house. I would say the spanikopita was the best I've ever had. My boyfriend says the lamb meatballs were outrageously good. The feta spread, haloumi, and salads were good. The lemon potatoes weren't great, they were too bitter and the grilled whole Bronzino looked impressive but the taste was just eh. I give this place 4 stars because for us as a 30 something couple the atmosphere wasn't great. It's located in a strip mall. The room is very large and cold (literally and figuratively) there is outdoor seating on the water (which we didn't opt for, maybe next time).

My husband and I recently visited this restaurant & we had such a wonderful experience. We sat in the outside dock area and it was perfect for a relaxing dinner and drinks! The food was outstanding. We started with the hummus, calamari and octopus, and it was all so fresh and delicious...the pita was also so warm, MMmmm!!! As for our main courses we both took the bronzino and it was in a very light olive oil, lemon and oregano sauce. It was just perfect. Our waitress was very attentive as were the other restaurant staff. I would definitely recommend making a reservation on a weekend night, especially for the outside area. We will be sure to go back when we visit Sunny Isles again!! It was a pleasure & beautiful indoor and outdoor decor.

Classy and upscale place with excellent and extraordinary food. Deserts are out of this world and far away from traditional. The LED on the wall showing the botton of the sea brough a different and nice atmosfere to the place.

After a number of recommendations decided to give the Sea Grill a try. BIG mistake! Very attractive restaurant with a lovely outdoor eating area on the inter-coastal, it was looking like we made a great choice. We ordered a bottle of decent greek wine and a starter of grilled octopus. Oops, over cooked rubbery parts and all. I had to spit out my first bite, but we let it go and carried on. Next we tried the crab cake, which tasted rancid and I love crab cakes so it had to be sent back to the kitchen.. Okay, things were not going well, so we decided to share the grilled swordfish $32 plus needed to order a green side to go with it. So for over $40 how can you mess up a simple, simple dish like that?! But this restaurant can! We knew we were in trouble when the waiter tried to cut the large piece of fish for us to share and had trouble cutting swordfish? Had to send it back too! tough rubber! This time we asked for a smaller thicker piece less well done. Second piece dry, tough and rubbery, wow. Just really poor quality, grade three fish. We gave up and they offered us dessert on the house. I don't usually eat dessert but still hungry so why not. Sadly the dessert was consistent with the rest, baklava, hardly any honey, really?! Worst meal in Miami in the last six months and we eat out 3-4 times a week. Worst of all the manager did not bother to come by to dicuss the issues. My sense is that they are making so much money they just don't care to improve some obvious problems.

Seriously great restaurant! Make sure you bring some dough, but it's a very nice place to eat some top notch Greek seafood. Waitstaff was extremely attentive, almost weirdly attentive, but no, we were just the first people there for dinner. Food was impeccable, I can not wait to go back. They had complementary aperitifs after our meal (limoncello, port, and orange whatever). That's pretty sweet, if you ask me. Made me feel really welcome. Thank you for that Sea Grill. I even took left-overs home from Sea Grill. Cool outside patio seating, literally on the bay. There were a bunch of little baby crab guys on the shore next to us. It's pretty cool to observe nature while you eat awesome food. Sea Grill = win.

Greeks know how to do seafood, from the sardine appetizer to grilled shrimp, grilled octopus and pompano...excellent!

One of the worst greek immitators I have seen in years, worst fish not fresh, overpriced servers have to be asked to refill water, I have been in Greece three times to Athens, Mykonos,Rhodes, Santorini and of course Astoria, Queens, NY where the cheapest Taverna or dinner is better than this so called greek authentic place they say they are. Terrible attitude from waiter to staff do not go there it is a waste of your hard earned money. I would like to know who is greek in this whole restaurant, they are fooling the public I would like to see how long they will fool some of the people all the time some of us are educated foodies, shame on you.

Not sure where the people that wrote some of the other reviews visited but our experience was terrible. Service was slow and they brought us the wrong food when it finally arrived. When they corrected their mistake, food was average at best. Server seemed lost and clueless but polite. May have been an off night but did not leave a good impression.

Extremely pleased with Sea Grill. Their fresh fish and seafood selections are excellent and prepared deliciously. There is a varied menu that provides great choices for different tastes. The service is impecable, the restaurant is spacious providing ample room for each table. Love having a healthy meal that tastes Amazing. This is a great restaurant and definitely a favorite one.

Seagrill is an AMAZING food experience all Miami Beach and surrounding visitors should partake in!. As a charter Captain, I am always asked "whats the best place to get some seafood" and hands down, I have to give it to these guys. Their approach to greek foods are transformed into what I describe as an explosion of flavors you probably have only dreamed of (by far best octopus ive ever had, just saying). Here in the Haulover area, we are blessed to have this restaurant not only close by but also available by BOAT!. A quick call once you arrive to the docks and management will have a server come out before your lines are tied down, YES! THEY BRING THE SERVICE TO THE BOAT!. Majority of my clients prefer the privacy of their vessels and Seagrill is always more than happy to accommodate. A huge plus for me and my guests! (Talk about feeling like a million bucks haha!). Not to mention, the dockmasters are available for those who need assistance bringing your vessel to port! Great service all around.. I'd hate to make this longer than it is (though I think I've already pushed it far enough) so I hope this helped give some insight on this particular restaurant. I'd hate to ruin the surprise and leave little to the imagination so I'll take this moment to quit and let you guys find out for yourselves.. enjoy the experience.

Food here was okay, and we had a great server, but I wouldn't return. The atmosphere was just plain dead--partly due to a poorly designed dining room, which is vast and you feel kind of lost in it, and has no comfortable or intimate touches, and partly because it was an elderly blah crowd. Tarama was a little light on roe flavor but good creamy texture. Smelts were not crispy and not at all hot when they arrived at our table, though they were fresh and tasty. Grilled sardines were goooorgeous. Those were the only memorable items.

  • Juan K.

Outstanding service!! The place is nice and elegant...we were seated outside and it was very enjoyable. The crowd, its definitely older but that's not a problem. Appetizers: we started with some grilled octopus - it was a bit burnt and it tasted OK, it was better after we squeezed some lemons on it. Drinks: we had some white wine (Duckhorne), a bit overpriced at $60. Entrees: royal dorado and black sea bass. Both fish came out pretty quick and presentation was awesome! but somewhat tasteless. I was very excited about this restaurant seeing some really good reviews but quickly got disappointed after I tried the first bite. Desserts: do not remember...I was kind of drunk already. Did order 1 dessert though :P

This place was the perfect choice for my last dinner in Northern Miami. The ambiance, the service, and the food were all excellent. We got a bottle of Greek white which paired nicely with my Chilean sea bass which was cooked to perfection. We received a complimentary desert which was some sort of apple/bread pudding as well as complimentary limoncello. Being half Greek and half Italian this place was right up my alley! I will definitely eat here again if I find myself back in Miami.

Wow! Why nobody told me about this place before? We went on a Saturday night and had a great experience, especially since I know nothing about Greek food. The server helped us to decide and he was really good at it; he never took advantage of our ignorance about Greek food by upselling or pushing expensive dishes (yes, they are pricey). Be smart when ordering if you don't want surprises. The options, especially the appetizers, are a lot and the food is really good. The ambiance is good (mostly people in their 60's and 70's) but it's OK. They have full bar and the bar service is also nice and professional. The place belongs to the Carpaccio/Villaggio/Bella Luna/Rosalia group.

First of all I must admit that this is a beautiful restaurant. This would be a really nice place to go on a date or a special occasion. They have two huge high-definition tVs that show a fish tank and beautiful scenes from Greece. The wait staff was very efficient, the Ice tea was very good, the specials were limited to just the appetizers. I had the Baby Rack Ribs which were very good but not great. I probably should've chose one of the dozen other appetizers that looked delicious. I had a dish called Grouper Pilaka which was a chunk of Grouper that was prepared in a broth with tomatoes, onions and small potatoes. It was cooked perfect, a big portion and very tasty. Overall this was a very nice restaurant that i would recommend to anyone. The costs are usually about $50 per person.

Come one come all (but beware if you don't have a Mercedes or higher don't valet, trust me it's better for your pride) beautiful cars parked Now let's get into the decor: You come in and it's a beautiful "lobby" with mirrors and a display of fresh fish the restaurant is offering. These fish are in ice and it's definitely a great instagram pic. Beware though, once going past the lobby and entering the actual seating area of the restaurant, Putin or the secret police may be doing among you. Russians love this place, as we all should because it's just that good! Let me elaborate on what exactly is good here. I dined twice here (2 days in a row) and was able to get a variety of dishes and all were made so well. Go nibble on something before you read the rest because you may get hungry, but unfortunately if you will not eat at Sea Grill well you won't really satisfy your hunger. 1) appetizers - skordalia, tzatziki, melitzanoslata, and hummus These spreads and dips were all delicious. The tzatziki was perfect and balanced. It was creamy and delicious. The melitzanoslata dish is eggplant and also was so delicious. The hummus is what they give with the bread and it's one of the best I've ever ate. And the skordalia to me was the hit (but beware daters; it has garlic!) garlic and almond spread was just perfect. 2) Greek salad, spanakopita, and keftedes The feta in the Greek salad was amazing and the combination of spices and dressing made it delicious. The spanakopita which is spinach inside a philo dough was also amazing and filling. Let's not forget the keftedes which was beef and lamb patty essentially but it was seasoned so well and the quality of the meat was amazing. 3) let's get into the branzino for a second (or two even) This was delicious. It's a whole branzino (filet) and this is the true spotlight of Sea Grill among the other dishes I've mentioned and I'm sure the countless I haven't. It was moist, well balanced, tender, cooked perfectly, and the seasoning and capers just made it heavenly! It is a MUST when you go. 4) if you thought I was done, well you thought wrong. Lava cake and their Greek yogurt dessert. Lava cake was divine. Moist warm center of chocolate lava with a perfect surrounding wall of chocolate cakes goodness. Now the Greek yogurt was also something special; almond crumbs and cherries in their own sauce and the yogurt dipped into both; yummy in my tummy. You feel like a child eating because happiness consumes you and that happiness is defined by everything I've mentioned and I'm sure a lot more. Enjoy Sea Grill! A must if you're in the area. Don't be scared of the Russians. We don't bite (all the time), we just love Medicaid!

There's a reason the reviews on this place are all 5 star as this is a fantastic restaurant! From the service, to the atmosphere to the food, everything is top notch. During a recent trip to Miami, we were looking for a fresh seafood place near our hotel and found this one by luck. Situated in a strip mall it sits right on the Inter-coastal Waterway, just over the 163rd Street Causeway so easy to get to from Sunny Isles or North Miami. The space is a big open area with large TVs hanging on opposite walls displaying scenes from Greece and around the world. Kind of feels like you're watching the Travel Channel in HD and gives you something interesting to look at while you wait for dinner. There is also patio seating but we did not get out there so I can't comment on the view. The menu is a seafood lovers dream with all kinds of fish prepared all kinds of ways. We started with a grilled Portobello mushroom and the Roca salad which was: Baby arugula, hazelnuts, sundried tomato, preserved figs with balsamic vinaigrette and goat cheese. both were excellent. Our main dishes consisted of grilled shrimp for the wife and the Bronzino for me. You've gotta love a place where they bring you out a fish (that's the whole fish) head, tail and all. Displayed on your plate and served Greek style with capers, lemon and oregano. Super delicious! The sides for both of our dishes were these lemon potatoes which at first did not sound appetizing but man oh man were they good. I could have made those my dinner. For desert we had key lime pie and coconut cake and both were amazing! Nothing more disappointing than ordering desert and having it be only "eh..." I wasted calories on this!? Wines by the glass and a full bar are also available. One thing to point out the bartender did not known how to make an Old Fashioned but I did explain it to to them and it was close enough for me. A+ for effort. Service was terrific with a team approach of water fillers, bread getters, fork replacers and our main server. Love that when you don't have to track down one person for all your needs. This place is not cheap I will warn you but if you're looking for a treat, this is a great option.

This place is about the sea food... FRESH And simply amazing... It's about the SERVICE.... People who go out of their way to make sure you have what you want when you want it... With its extremely friendly and welcoming bartender "Marsel" we were able to enjoy an unexpected yet amazing dinner at "SEA GRILL" ... My first 5 star ranked restaurant... All thanks to the service and amazing food...including its amazing tuna tar tar and the "saganaki" cheese... Great place for a family dinner...

Hidden in the corner of sunny isle, is this delectable Greek restaurant that left my tastebuds jumping. From my Greek salad to a desert my mouth was craving each bite. The Chilean sea bass was fresh and meaty. Ben our children enjoyed this experience. Our server, Robin was also very attentive and catered to our every need. Love the ambience and the rolling photos of Greece.

Happy I finaly came here, excellent service, very authentic Greek. I grew up with all Greeks in montreal and this place is just what I was looking for. Ordered the Greek salad, fried zucchini and chicken kebab, all 3 were perfect. The fish looks excellent as well, table next to us had it. Will be back for sure

The Sea Grill is a lovely upscale Greek restaurant on the intercoastal in North Miami Beach. The decor is striking: all white with huge LCD screens showing panoramas of Greece. On a beautiful late Sunday afternoon, we chose to eat on the patio overlooking the intercoastal and our kids were mesmerized by the boats and "wildlife". The service was impeccable and could not have been friendlier. We decided to go on a whim when we were already out of the house and very casually dressed. This is a very fine restaurant and we thought they might turn us away in our shorts and t-shirts but the maitre-d could not have been nicer and welcomed us with open arms. You could tell that everything here was freshly made without artificial ingredients. That started with the freshly brewed fruit iced tea - delicious and refreshing! After complimentary Hummus (delicious) we ordered a variety of appetizers: Melizanosalata (Roasted Eggplant Salad $7) - do not order this unless you love eggplant because this is purely pureed eggplant with olive oil & some Greek spices....no fillers here. It is served with hot pita. I really liked it and so did 9 year old. Husband ordered the Baby Back Ribs ($14). Charbroiled, seasoned with lemon and Greek spices, they were really unlike any other ribs I have tasted. We also got the Keftedes (Meatballs @ $9). These also had a delicious, unique, fresh, unprocessed flavor. The real knockout however, was the special app of the day, the Tuna Tartar ($14). Asian inspired, it had not minced, but chunks of tuna in a soy type of sauce. It was topped with an avocado creamy mixture with a side of hijiki. This dish was so balanced, unusual, and delicious, it just made my taste buds sing. They should offer this all the time! Unfortunately, the apps were the highlights of our meal. Our main courses did not fare as well. My choice, the Chilean Sea Bass ($36) was probably the best dish. it was moist but I could not get over the puddle of oil it was served in. Husband and 9 year old both got Grouper dishes: Grouper Ladoregano ($29) with a lemon, olive oil & oregano sauce & Grouper Plaki ($32)i, baked in fish broth, onions & tomatoes. Both of these dishes violated my cardinal rule of fish preparation: they were made with huge chunks of fish. The pieces of grouper were so big that they could not absorb any of the flavor of the sauces. They ended up being just big old tough pieces of fish...very disappointing! I would return, hopefully again on a beautiful afternoon to enjoy that awesome iced tea and perhaps some wine. This time, however, I would enjoy a tapas type of meal: apps only. Perhaps I would try a salad. The next table ordered one and it looked fresh and wonderful. I might even try a soup or something from the raw bar. Yes, this place can be expensive but it is an upscale, beautiful restaurant with fresh ingredients, quality preparation, as well as impressive service.....some work on the entrees would raise Sea Grill to a 5..

First time in this restaurant. Atmosphere is great and the food is very fresh. We had the grilled octopus which was fantastic. The Greek Salad with grilled feta cheese was delicious too. The serving sizes were just right. The Pompano fish was very well done. For dessert try the Greek donuts. They were soft on the inside yet crispy on the outdiee. Perfect ending for a great meal.

My boyfriend took me here on Saturday, March 7th, to celebrate my birthday. We had a great meal. The service, appetizer, wine, lamb chops, scallops, 3 desserts, and complimentary shot at the end made for a great night and what would have been a 5 star raving review until... 4:30am when I awoke to clear signs of food poisoning. This morning my boyfriend woke up to the same symptoms. We ate all of the same things so I don't know what caused it but it's clear that it was something from that evening's meal. This is an absolute shame because otherwise we definitely would have returned.

The food and service is phenominal! The greek salad was delicious as well as the grilled octopus for the appetizer. The branzino for the main course out of this world delicious. My husband who is not a fish person couldnt say enough for the fish.

Both my wife and I are big seafood eaters and we always check out seafood restaurants when we visit a new place on the water. This place was by far my favorite place. I was so surprised that it didn't have at least 1k reviews. We had the Bronzino and the grouper they were both so good. Their grilled vegetables were off the hook. Ended the night with chocolate soufflé and could not have been more perfect. I would eat here again in a heart beat.

I normally don't write reviews on yelp, but wow, this time I had to. Outstanding service, food, everything. John, the manager, made the experience absolutely unique. The food is awesome; fresh, very well flavored and it is worth every single penny. As appetizers we had Octopus (very soft and with a great grilled flavor), Crab cake (my favorite, it melts in your mouth), a small Greek salad and the sample platter. My husband had the Branzino; I had the Filet Mignon Kebob and Lemon potatoes as a side. WOW!!! The filet Mignon was very good, but the Branzino was SO good that we ended up sharing it (more like fighting over it lol) and having the Kebob to go. For dessert we had the Milopita; the cherry on a top of a great meal... And the cherry over the cherry was a homemade orancello, which was a great touch by our incredible waiter, Valkin (oh yes, if you go, ask for Valkin; he is the best!) This definitely became the place to go on special occasions.

Upscale place absolutely worth the money. In a strip mall so no real need to valet. Food is greek. Fresh, grilled fish with lemon and oil, served with lemon potatoes = mmmmh! Apps are huge. Octopus is to die for! Keftedis: Lamb/beef "meatballs" are the size of sliders; extremely moist and spiced with oregano etc but not spicy hot. Even old standbys like grape leaves and spanakopita are uniquely done and delicious. Rice pudding dessert was so good I ate it even though I was very full. Lovely presentation of all dishes. Decor: Modern, elegant, white marble. Nice chairs. Beautiful flower arrangements. Room is big but we went early so it wasn't noisy. Don't know during peak hours. Service: Outstanding. Attentive but not annoyingly so. Our waiter Marcel was attentive to every detail and friendly and professional. ( I usually don't remember waiters' names but was with my elderly Mom who asked his name 3 times!) Also, Chardonnay by the glass was excellent for $10. I forget the name. This is a great place to bring out of town guests, or just treat yourself to a fantastic experience.

We just had dinner there and I must say that anyone that knows about food would not recommend this restaurant. The service was not very good and the food was mediocre at best. It's really too bad had an open mind when I arrived but it was downhill from there.

Superb! Four of us for a very late lunch on Sunday. First we were impressed with the beauty of the place. Really classy décor. Definitely put some money into this place. Greeted warmly and seated promptly. Very extensive menu. We decided to order all apps which made for a fun afternoon. Grilled octopus, lamb ribs, fried smelts, grilled shrimp, roasted beets, stuffed zucchini flowers, lima beans, lemon potatoes,Greek cheese with pita. I know I am forgetting something. Everything was delicious. All of the grilled items had a wonderful charcoal flavor. Service was impeccable. Not sure we will get to the main courses next time because we had such a wonderful experience trying lots of apps. No room for desert.

This is a restaurant I recommend a lot to my guests, being a concierge in Sunny Isles Beach. I had been there once before, years before I was a concierge and I wasn't a fan but it was mostly due to me not being the biggest fan of Greek food. Recently, our concierge team went back to dine and I'm glad we did because it was DELICIOUS. I'm still not the biggest fan of Mediterranean cuisine but the food was really great. I loved the pita and all the dips it came with. My coworker and I especially enjoyed the fried cheese. I would DEFINITELY go back and will continue to recommend to my guests.

This place is beautiful. The decor is impeccable, including the flat screen TVs replaying panoramic scenes of Greece, and the fresh seafood laid out in ice in the middle of the restaurant. The food was delicious, although expensive. My friend and I ordered the sardines, I got the sea bass, and my friend got lamb. We each ordered a dessert, and the bill was over $100. Normally, we pay something like $60-$70, maybe $80 tops for this amount of food. Don't get me wrong, the food is fresh and delicious, but prepare to spend a good chunk of change. This place is pretty upscale, and I felt slightly embarrassed coming in wearing jeans. The sardines were delicious and tender. Grilled, with a slight flavor of oil and lemon. My seabass was also very tender and came with a lemon sauce and capers, as well as some baked potato strips. I have had seabass that was hard, chewy and fishy, but this was very fresh and broke apart like butter, so I can attest to the fact this is a quality place. The dessert, ekmek, was also orgasmic. I did not want it to finish, even though it was a pretty big piece. I savored every last bite. I recommend trying it if you have a sweet tooth. The highlight though was their ginger pear tea. You MUST try this tea if you're a big tea lover, like I am. It was so aromatic and smooth, I wanted to buy a box for myself, and still might. I have never had such delicious tea before. The service was great, by the way. Different waiters kept coming by to refill the water and takes away the dirty plates. Unfortunately, my friend was angry about the bill and said this was the first and last time we'd come here for dinner *sniff*.

We are from Ma, never been to Sea Grill Restaurant before. I looked up places near our hotel in Sunny Isles on yelp and this restaurant had 5 stars so we decided to try it. I'm so happy we tried it!! This restaurant was outstanding. We had the Greek salad along with many hot appetizers and they were all delicious. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who wants a fantastic dinner. Great Greek Food....We will definitely be back

We went to this Resturant with 3 couples, and we thought the menu looks great. We were delighted when we got there, the place is large and the tables are placed with some distance that you don't feel you are sharing conversation with others. The variety of everything on the menu is unbelievable and the portions are plenty, sharing and tasting the different appetizers is a must as they prepare them to appeal to all kind of food lovers. The grilled octopus is so tasty and cooked perfect. The mussels are large size and delicious. Everyone got s different fish and all of of us were so pleased with the way it was cooked. We loved the way the servers were moving and working together. It was a delightful evening and really with the background of sights of Athens, Santorini, Crete etc you almost feel you are dinning there. Next time we hope to eat outdoors. Great place

This is a beautiful restaurant with excellent outdoor seating very close to the water. The wait staff was accommodating and friendly. I ordered the tuna tartar appetizer which was outstanding and the branzino as my main dish. The branzino was cleaned for me and cooked perfectly. The 1 downfall was the wait staff recommending the grilled octopus saying that it is the best we will eat and I simply thought it was just okay. If it wasn't hyped up so much I probably would have thought better of it but it did not meet the expectations the waitress had set. Overall definitely a great place for seafood and I ill certainly come back.

Came here for my birthday dinner. Was really excited about being on the water. Reserved seating with a view. We got seating with a view of a ton of trees. The service was horrible and slow. Servers kept forgetting everything. Ended up having our drink and appetizer and cancelling our dinner after waiting an hour for it. Manager wasn't too happy about it either. Thanks for ruining my birthday dinner @$$ holes

We went and had a array of tapas, salad, grilled holoumi, octopus, lamb and pork ribs and baklava. Everything was very good the octopus was tender and the ribs fell right off the bone. Greek food is simple lemon and olive oil but tastes great we will definetly be back. If you go ask for Ray as your server.

Amazing! Amazing! Amazing!!! My husband and I were here on vacation and our dinner at Sea Grill was a highlight of the trip. Nelson was our server and he was fantastic. He made wonderful suggestions and each part of our meal was so flavorful. We started with the appetizer sampler of dips or spreads. It comes with 4 and we had the smoked eggplant spread, the tzatziki spread, the feta and red pepper dip and the Skordalia spread which is made with almonds, garlic and olive oil. The feta/red pepper dip and the Skordalia were hands down our faves. SO flavorful!! They were served with warm and lightly toasted pita bread. I immediately googled recipes and will be attempting to make them as appetizers in the future. Then we shared a salad with sundried tomatoes, toasted hazelnuts and a balsamic reduction dressing which was very yummy. For entrees, we both had fish. I'm very picky about fish and only enjoy very mild fish. Nelson recommended the Branzino which was a home run. It's served whole but they will remove the head and tail upon request in the kitchen. Because really... How appetizing is it to have your fish giving you the fish eye?? My husband ordered the swordfish which was also excellent and they both came with YUMMYLICIOUS lemon potatoes. Sounds weird right? Go with it. You won't be disappointed!! Nelson brought us his favorite dessert. It was incredible but I can't remember the name. The wine was also great. Oh! And the view!! If its nice outside sit by the water. It was lovely and if you are facing the right way you can see all the city lights. If this place was in Dallas it would be our new favorite for date nights and business dinners as well. Outstanding. Don't miss out on this place when you're in the area!!!

Excellent waterside restaurant. We pulled up by boat and they had plenty of parking. All of the dishes mentioned in these comments were excellent, I'll add that the lamb chops were also phenomenal. For desert the apple pie was very unique and fluffy.

We had a wonderful time here! It was recommended by the concierge at our hotel. He said, you might not want to go in from the outside, but inside it is wonderful! It is true because like all places in Florida it seems, it is in a strip mall (lol). Free valet though! We sat inside, which I was kinda bummed at first about, the hostesses said there were mosquitos, but there were a lot of people sitting outside. Oh well. The inside of the restaurant was lovely! I saw it was cool how they had all the fresh seafood on display when you walk in. Our server was awesome! So responsive, great recommendations. We had the fried zuchinni, which was awesome! It was soo light, for being fried. The batter was super duper light. I had the scallops which were amazing! My husband had the sea bass, delish! We also tried the apple pie type dessert that was their 'signature' Our waiter was funny and he is like, oh yeah you should definitely get it, even though he said it could feed 4, haha. We got it, it was AMAZING! And we ate the whole thing:) hahaha. Oink! They brought free limoncello over too! I think what really made is 5 stars over 4 was the service, it was outstanding!
